PSEMC manufactures a wide variety of pyrotechnic, lanyard pulled or electrically intiated Time Delays typically used in aircrew escape systems, tactical missiles, spacecraft platforms and downhole petroleum exploration. Configurations vary dependant upon application and units are available in single, redundant or module configurations. Small Column Insulated Delay (SCID) cord is used to insure tight tolerance delay times varying from as little as 17 milliseconds to as much as 5 minutes or more. Performance is within +/-15% over a temperature range of -65 to +200 degrees F.
