PSEMC, Arizona Operations is located in Chandler, Arizona on a 57-acre site that provides a 100,000+ square feet under roof facility. The primary focus at the Chandler Facility includes initiators, safe and arm devices, and cartridge/propellant actuated devices (CAD/PADs) for military, launch vehicle, commercial aviation and oilfield applications. Both development and qualification type programs are managed from the Chandler Facility.

Resources at the Chandler Facility include a design/analysis team focused on customer requirements and a world class chemistry team with extensive energetic material development, synthesis and analysis capability.





                 
    

Production capability is supported by powder processing/blending, propellant manufacture/casting, laser welding, and production cells that can be transformed to manufacture various products using lean manufacturing processes. PSEMC’s machine shop provides components and tooling as well. A complete in-house environmental and as function test facility at the Chandler Facility also supports product development, qualification and lot acceptance.
